Espresso has long been a sensation in Italy! Now available to buy in Germany from us.
Since 1938, Sant'Eustachio has upheld the roasting tradition for the perfect espresso. The highest priority is the quality of the beans. Only 100% Arabica beans of the finest varieties pass the rigorous quality control set by brothers Raimondo and Roberto Ricci. A visit to this small but exquisite bar in the heart of Rome is a must for every coffee connoisseur. The secret and already legendary Gran Caffe blend tastes simply incomparable. Just like in the old days, the highest quality beans are roasted individually over a wood fire.
The following Arabica varieties are used:
Brazilian Coffee - Sul de Minas
The beans are dried naturally in the sun. This preserves their distinctive flavor. A very complex coffee with a light acidity and full-bodied taste.
Coffee from the island of St. Helena - a true gourmet specialty
Only the finest coffee cherries are picked weekly. This ensures a unique quality harvest. These beans possess a perfect balance between acidity and body. A wonderfully fragrant bouquet with floral and fruity notes. The medium body is reminiscent of chocolate and spices.
Coffee from the Dominican Republic
Warm ocean currents and constant air currents contribute to the quality of these beans from Guaigui. They impress with their full body and cocoa aromas. Low acidity and remarkable creaminess make them perfect for preparing espresso.
Bourbon coffee from the Galapagos Islands
The Bourbon variety has been cultivated on the island for 140 years. Here, it finds ideal climatic conditions to develop into a top-quality coffee. Volcanic soils and a high mineral content promote this exceptional quality. In harmony with this natural paradise, the plants are grown organically.
Coffee from Guatemala - Fair trade
Chajul's population is 92% indigenous. The "Asociacion Chajulense Va'l Vaq Quyol" (literally: one voice) has been improving the living conditions of the Maya-Ixil people since 1988. Coffee production accounts for 80% of their income. Today, the small communities sell their coffee directly abroad. Previously, they had to sell it to middlemen at low prices. The high-quality coffee is organically grown.
Organic coffee from Sidamo, Ethiopia
Ideal geographical and climatic conditions in coffee's birthplace make Sidamo so appealing for gourmet roasts. A deeply spicy aroma emanates from these small beans, complemented by notes of chocolate and wine. Floral notes and pronounced citrus blossom aromas, along with a clear, bright acidity, complete the experience.
Careful preparation and a high level of knowledge about the roasting requirements of these high-class varieties result in a gourmet blend with a secret mixing ratio. Sant'Eustachio Gran Caffe.
These days, however, it's no longer enough to simply buy coffee of excellent taste and quality. When purchasing a product, one must also pay attention to how it is produced and what its entire production and distribution chain looks like. (Roberto Ricci)
