The Extra Bar represents southern Italian espresso culture in its accessible, professional form: full-bodied, creamy, low in acidity, and clearly focused on chocolate, nut, and caramel flavours. A reliable bar espresso with a rich texture and stable crema. The classic bar blend setup for a dense body, lasting crema, and uncomplicated, reproducible extraction in everyday use.
The Extra Bar has a darker, caramel-roasted signature: dark chocolate, cocoa nibs, and roasted almonds characterize the first impression, followed by molasses, dark toffee, and notes of roasted grain and biscotti. It is low in acidity, dense, and slightly syrupy on the palate; fine bitter compounds are rounded and provide structure without dominating. The finish is long, clean, and chocolatey with traces of brittle and light spice – in milk, the coffee retains its clear presence and develops a pronounced nougat-chocolate note.
Traditionally medium-dark to dark, inspired by southern Italy: clear sweetness, little bitterness, low acidity. The roast is chosen so that oils gently rise to the surface of the beans for a velvety texture and stable crema.
